I know one thing, old Clint is a lot smarter than his haters!

Been laughing for years by all the free publicity he got on forums from people who dislike him.

My advise to people who are rubbed the wrong way by him is to take your $6.00 FHA check and buy some looser fitting underwear. lol

To those who allow any person to rent that much space in thier head....every time you think of him he's winning. I guarantee a few of you are busy thinking about a guy like this and he's too busy hustling, making things happen, and laying out his next move to even know you exist.

Like him or hate him, he's winning every time you are talking about him lol.

I tell you one thing I really like about Clint. When you stop at his booth and talk to him he’s looking and talking to you and not glancing around to see who’s going by and speaking to them. That’s something that really aggravates me with a dealer.

We can’t use a trap with a jaw spread of more than 5 3/8” here for cats. Lynx protection zone. Never seen one here but I don’t know why that would stop them from getting caught.

I like Clint's straight forward ways. I've listened to everything he's said when it comes to cats or coyotes that I could come across. Somethings I don't agree a 100% with him on but dont feel like he's intentionally misleading anyone just to sell product or make himself look smarter. His teacher's of the Night videos on coyotes doesn't line up with what I see in the snow or on my trail cameras but I believe it has more to with us have better cameras now that don't spook the coyotes. I think Clint was trying to put helpful information out to the trappers with that video but was limited by the equipment at the time.


I like Clint's style of this is what I do and this is why it works for me, take it or leave it approach better than the politically correct, make everyone feel good, self promoting, polished salesmanship style of some. Those kind always make feel like they are trying to sale me a bill of goods.

I’m a part of the Clint cult And proud of it!! My trapping partner feels the same way. Clint’s methods work! His philosophy about life is spot on. Clint has changed my life on the trap line And at home.

I know where he's coming from. Never had a problem with him. I like the podcasts because he is good at flipping ideas around to get others to think about things.

That's my thing. I like content that kicks my brain into gear rather than the rope a dope do this for this result without explanation or discussion.

Clint is a hard working guy who can put up large catches of fur. More than most of the trappers on this site!

A few years ago,Clint and I were both doing the Illinois convention. Clint asked what it would cost him to do an interview with me. I said a good cup of coffee should do it.
The next morning before the doors opened,Clint and I sat in his truck and did the interview---and he had a fresh cup of hot coffee for me--paid in full.
I enjoyed my time spent with him, and hope I run into him again before my time is up.

Clint is another person who has influenced my trapping style in a productive manner. I really liked his Teachers of the Night series. He has always been good to me. He could set at my campfire anytime.

Wasn’t he an Army ranger?

101st Airborne Division in Desert Storm. I don't know if he was Ranger qualified or not but he is the real deal infantry man.

I kinda like the guy ..We had a really good conversation at his booth at the 2018 NTA .That man lives , breathes trapping. What I liked was there did not seem to be a big ego .
He is no dummy .I think theres alot of hate because he is successful at what he does.

Clint has always been respectful when I talked to him on phone years back.
Bigger traps in snow, high fence jobs in Texas or where ever do have there place imo.
