Same here, I don't care because it would be the same for sports or hunting. I love doing it and there's nothing better than walking into a fur shed with fur drying.

Wait you mean I'm not coming out ahead driving an hour each way to to take the kids squirrel hunting/deer scouting when we average under 6 squirrels per trip. Just consider all that high quality meat. $30 in gas and $25 on food and snacks. All that meat definitely off sets the cost.😆

I'm playing with you. Wild game can be the most expensive meat most people will ever eat if you figure in all they spend to do it and time off work. There are exceptions like when we shoot deer out back off our farm. But then I take my boys to hunt out of Stat deer for KY youth season it's a very cheap hunt on public ground but still cost over 1000. Last year they only shot one the time before that they shot 3. Expensive deer meat. But you can't put a price on the memories.

I spent 400$ on a shotgun setup this year just to hunt pheasants and never shot a single one, so that's true that it's a very expensive meal but it's pretty good.
