I get it bad every year. Most of the time I manage to get it on my face. Best thing I found is wash called Zanfel. Comes in a little green tub. If it’s really bad and close to your eyes see if you can get steroids from a doctor. That’s the best in bad cases

Mud, drywall mud, wet cement or mortar.
Touch me not is another name for jewel weed here.
Clorox.
Technu works for cleaning tools too.
The Dr. shot cleans it in a day or two.

I've been spraying the plants with salt water
and notice the deer eating it lol. Good deers.

Pure denatured alcohol will take the itch away for a little bit and help dry it up.

The stuff they gave us was the consistency of sun screen and was a tube. Get one one each. Hopefully the spray will stop the itching and then you can switch to the scrub form after it starts to heal. Be sure to put a shot of it in with the clothes you were wearing in the washing machine too.

I have nothing clever to put here.

The only time that my brother or I got it ( that I can remember ) is if we have an open cut. Even then it is only 2-3 small bumps. At least that is what I think it was. We have been in it up to our eye balls cutting firewood. My Dad used to tell stories about when he was a kid making wreaths out of it and wearing them on their heads and not getting it.

Technu is a product originaly developed to help "decontaminate" or remove radioactive material from the skin. It was later discovered to be effective in removing urushiol, the oil in poison ivy. The oil in poison ivy binds to the skin but also spreads. Technu binds more strongly to the oil and is very effective at removing from your skin. Using it as directed stops the spread and reduces the effect on areas already impacted. That usually provides enough relief. If stronger measures are needed, prednisone reduces or stops the alergic reaction to the oil. Both can be used together.

Jewel Weed great itch relief.
Hard hot scrub with Dawn
Bleach to scrub / rinse area
Juicy stalk of Jewel Weed applied as needed for itch relief.

Just sent a 5 gallon bucket of plant stalks to have some Balm made.

Prednisone shot. I've used Clorox, alcohol, salt bath to help aid in drying it up. Technu never worked for me.( Just my experience). Had it on my arms for one summer so bad in my 20s I sprayed brake cleaner on it after scratching everything open. It worked!! I don't advise that though! Bet I ran the 100 yrs dash in record time around the shop trying to outrun the burn laugh. Younger an dumber

The worst part of summer for me is poison ivy. Just getting over my stint with it. For me, time is the only thing that gets rid of it. 10-14 days. Absolutely hate it! It’s every where here and my yard is bordered by it.

It took a 12-day course of prednisone for me this summer. Had it on all four extremities. I was pulling "weeds" from my landscaping and wearing gloves thankfully, but still got it on my arms and legs from brushing mulch off them with the gloves on. Nasty stuff.

You already used Ivarest and that didn't work? The only other thing is Jewelweed , if it grows in your area. If your sweating , it's going to spread bad. I know from experience.
