I just got to the convention about 30 minutes ago and was trying to get set up. I had a portly young lad come by and wanted to buy #1 Longsprings. I made him a good deal and he paid in $2 bills. After he paid he was telling me about buying some from a guy that smelled like cheese and named Pat Fundine for 50 cents each. He said the best part was there was actually only 49 cents in what he gave him. I am going to have to figure out what all happened here. Even stranger is that he was BUYING #1 LS from me and then sold the #21 Diamond double jaw he was carrying around to some guy for $20.

Apparently the kid "bonded" with Pat because he keeps calling to him the "49 cent Cheesy Poof". He does look a little like Cartman from South Park.

Cartman wants to know who “MNman” is?

I actually bore witness to this event and the Diamond the kid took Pat for was actually a #1 Diamond double jaw. A 6 year old kid walked up to Pat and said:" I want to buy a trap" Pat said: "How much money do you have?" The kid offered him 25 cents for a trap and Pat balked at that, so I helped the "poor" six-year old out by adding a quarter to the ante. With so many witnesses, Pat could only indulge the youngster his wish to buy a trap and said: Let Doug help you pick one out". The kid quickly fired back with: "I'll pick out my own trap!" He picked the most expensive trap Pat had in the pile of #1 longsprings and he knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly demonstrated several times his ability to set the trap and handed Pat the money and walked away with the trap. When Pat counted the money, he only had 49 cents instead of 50 and we all were rolling with laughter at Pat's expense at that point. I told Pat: "That was your biggest sale of the day and you wound up getting taken!"
More fun happened when the kid came back and showed Pat the 2 dollar bill that he had. A friend of mine came up just a bit later and said there was a six year old going around to all of the vendors showing them his 2 dollar bill. I am still wondering how much he got for that #1 double jaw Diamond. Probably that two dollar bill. Pat said I hope this does not get to the internet. I assured him that it would not have until he brought the subject up to me. The aforementioned episode made the whole convention for me as I and several bystanders were rolling on the ground laughing at Pat as he sat there all red faced after being taken to the cleaners by a six year old kid who will no doubt be able to retire buy the time he is 20.

![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2022/08/full-31375-146874-20220804_200559.jpg) That 49 cents I got for that diamond included this amazing quarter. It came directly from the pocket of the infamous MNman. It's a 1985 and I would bet money that it has been in his pocket since 1985. I'm considering donating it to the benefit auction. It should bring top dollar. You would try to find a way to make some good out of a bad situation. Good man! However, you would be guilty of false advertising since that quarter has only been in my pocket for the past 10 years.

Don't forget that he got that quarter. It may only be a quarter, but it was the only money MnMan spent all week. I am out of the loop. So did the tubby little kid screw you out of a quarter or fifty cents. I can’t believe he got $20 for that Diamond.

Don't forget that he got that quarter. It may only be a quarter, but it was the only money MnMan spent all week. C'mon Man, don't be spreading misinformation. I put gas in the truck on Tuesday. You know, he did get that quarter from me but that was a donation. He bought a trap from you for only 24 cents of his own money when he had at least two dollars more. Now it is possible that he did not get that two dollars until he sold the trap but he only invested 24 cents and You no longer have the trap. You were being nice to him but he picked the best trap out of that lot and that just made my day. It sure made it worth that quarter I invested for the entertainment.

I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I'll bring my change jar tomorrow. Should have enough to clean Pat out of traps. I found a crisp $5 bill and bet I can buy all his 330's with it.

160user took his turn today.... he bought the last of my traps for reasonable prices, but he gave the money to my daughter..... guess who kept the money I tried to give it to you but as usual, you wouldn't listen to me. Those kids that were taking the Trappers Ed course were sure tickled to get that box of traps. Thanks Pat! Hopefully the rest of your dolls and Tupperware sell tomorrow.

![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2022/08/full-31375-146958-20220805_175402.jpg) I just saw the infamous MnMan. He drew this amazing picture of Trapstickman on a wooden cigar box. I will be donating it along with the quarter I got from him to the benefit auction on Saturday night. I stopped by Pat's place to see if I could buy any #1 Diamond double jaw traps for 24 cents but he was all out of them. He at that time produced the box above that carried my quarter that he claims I have been carrying around since it was minted in 1985. He said if I had any chance of getting it back, I would have to do some art work on it and buy it back at the auction. Sorry, I had to leave for home before the auction so some lucky person might be able to get the famous coin and box. I hope it draws some interest.
