For the last 3 years if we get a lot of rain the septic would slow down I had the local cooperative set a propane tank when I built my garage I marked the septic tank and lines but driver ran over them Later that year had a dip show up Well with all this rain it stopped completely I’ve had it Call local guy to dig .Old line was broken with only one lateral line connected He fixed that then I said double them so he ran solid around the house and added 2 more lateral lines Told him I don’t want to hear another gurgle as long as I’m alive !
Bye bye beautiful yard !! Nah it will be back if I can kick this dang China flu ! [Linked Image]

Now is the right time to do that stuff though. Next spring you won't know there was a hole there.

I got 2 quotes one was 6400 bucks from a guy driving a Ford 350 tricked out all black step ladder to get in it I’d guess 150,000 plus truck .
Other guy showed up in 1991 two wheel drive with clay mud on his feet where he just finished up another job !
3000
He dug up and fixed old leach lines
Ran 60 ft of solid pipe
Digging 2 leach line beds 6 ft wide and approximately 40 ft each
Put in 4 distribution boxes
Materials and labor 3 grand

Ahh heck. Hope reading this isn’t bad luck. Went to our local Health Dept to check on a permit for our pool and we may have some issues with the drain lines. They asked if they’d been replaced and I told them no. They implied that they probably will soon based on the length of time they’ve been there. My AC is over 30yrs old too!!

Not bad. Up north here we put the gravel under the pipes with maybe a couple inches on top.

Is that the line from the house to the tank or the line from the tank to the leech field/sand mound? Why are you having issues with rain water in your septic?

About 5 years ago I had a 200 lb propane tank set beside my garage The idiot driver drove over the last set of lateral lines even tho I had a Bucket on each box I was screaming stop stop he went on About 1 year later a sunken spot appears were he drove You must realize we got 7-12 in of rain in 7 days depending on which street you were on
My house is 26 years old Water backed up in house so I had tank pumped and level was so high water was standing in pipe leaving house When he dug into the old lines only one lateral line was working and it was full second one had pipe broken
He repaired the break and the pic is the new lateral lines in the FRONT yard all old ones are in the back
He has a stool he puts in the end of each pipe that is 14 inches tall He covers it and ditch boy moves on down inserting stool so there is rock under it

Is August a little early? Are you planting a fescue variety?

Did you use straw or fabric on top gravel to prevent intrusion? First pic looks like straw the fabric holds up better. Now they have an infiltrater system looks pretty slick. Lucky your permitted leach fields, systems around here have to be a sand mound, they said mine drained too fast for leach bed (all sandstone) crazy

They use straw . Health dept inspected it this morning. Now all together I have 160 ft of lateral lines. It will be a blessing. Yea it will settle but I’ll reseed it end of September and add any fill spot then

Just realized it looks like you're in a residential area, surprised you don't have sewage hook-ups.
