So, from what I read, it would only take four small bombs dropping on four sites on the Gulf Coast to seal off the strategic reserve so it can't be accessed? Sounds like a rich target for China when they come.

China won't "come" just as we won't go over there. There will not be a war with China in the classical sense with occupying forces and such. You just cant get the boots across the big pond and be an open target for days and not expect to get sunk in the process. Chinese troops would have to travel several thousand miles across the pacific only to get close enough for long and medium range missiles to sink them. Same applies the other way around. China may have the biggest navy in the world but its the wrong kind. They only have 2 carriers and that is not enough to supply air superiority on or near the US continent. So that whole war with China thing is just another one of the things the fear mongers put out there to keep us occupied while they screw us over.
If there is a war with China , it would be fought with ICBM'a and it would be the last war fought on this planet involving technology. MAD still is as valid as it ever was.

Yup, short of ICBM China is unable to inflict damage to the US base and we in turn lack the manpower to invade and hold ground though we do have the assets to place a large force offshore of China but not without grave risk to those assets.

That leaves the bordering states of Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and possibly the Philippines and India caught in the middle with Australia dangerously close to the action.

And China has Russia guarding the back door.

Militarily it's a Mexican standoff with the neighbors caught in the crossfire.

That leaves the only option available is economic war but three decades of increasing global interdependence and subcontracting our most basic needs to China has made that option almost as destructive as MAD.

Now if for whatever pretext, and if they had the power they once did, an active threat from Russia would put China between the Devil and the deep blue sea.

And some of y'all said Trump was toadying up to Russia for no good reason.

Kind of makes one wonder just why the Biden crime family is neck deep in Ukraine and China and pushing the war in Ukraine?

An effective emp attack would neutralize many weapons....I think, but who knows for sure? Plus any emp attack would trigger a sub based nuke launch, again I think...but what if biden refused to give that order?

Take out the grid, communications, internet here in mainland USA and wait a year...probably 50%+ of our population does not even know how to make water safe to drink..no less skills to survive/eat.

Could that happen? I do not know but if you said a few years ago that a bio weapon that had a small kill % would change the world as we know it most people would ridicule you...here it changed an election outcome...small businesses closed like flies dropping, .....etc.

And that is a great unknown as we seem to have entered a novel and as yet unknown form of warfare. The forms and methods of attack lack any cogent defense.
