Canary Melon aka Christmas Melon for their long storing ability.

I've grown the Toadskin variety. Toadskin because its green and yellow mottled with those wrinkles.

That one should have pale to yellow firm flesh. Similar to a honeydew in texture.

The muskmelon group includes honeydew, cantaloupe, canary, crane, crenshaw, and a whole bunch of others and none are true cantaloupes.

You've also got morning glory and nutgrass.

Probably, but casaba and canary are in the same branch of the honeydew group the other branch being the smooth honeydew.

Kind of like the squash family, it's confusing.

Looks like some anthracnose also. Spray with Captan.
