We do chicken eggs for 13 min in water, or 5 min in instapot, but have never done quail eggs. Gonna try pickling some.

We hard boil about 20 Quail eggs every day or other day. We get the water to just start boiling than add the eggs to the boiling water. Set timer for 3mins 45seconds than pour the water out and add cold water to the pot to stop the cooking.
We like them a lot!

Cold as ice!

My quail hatched out June 10 so they should start laying any time. Will be watching this thread.

Looks like he needs another year;-)
