We can't bait anymore here. Some are switching to h2o holes &/or licking sticks I remember when they first OK'd baiting, think it was in the late '90's. Was hunting up in the Glidden area on a shirt tail relatives place. about a dozen large bait piles all over a 40 acre tract. Deer tracks all over the place around the bait piles. Several of us sat on those bait piles for many days straight. It was rare to see a deer. Next morning fresh tracks all over and the bait was all gone. Seemed to me it allowed the deer to fill up big time at night and lay in the swamps all day and sleep the full belly off. But if its legal and you feel you need the help go ahead and use bait.

Down here most people use feeders that are on timers. Only scatters a bit of corn at certain times of the day.

Trophy rock, is what gets hit hardest here. Rural King and Tractor Supply both carry them Yep Trophy rock works great on the farm we hunt in Ky. Also the mineral salt for livestock,.
