The Lutheran stance on marring same sex couples and the like shows how far off biblical teaching that church is so anything they do is no surprise to me.

I just read the article; blah, blah blah, all about freakishness.

The article states that the ELCA has a membership of 3.3 million. But what it doesn't say is that the church is projected to have fewer than 67,000 member (and only 16,000 attendees) by 2050. People are leaving the church in droves; this is encouraging to see than when lies and heresy is taught, that people will up and leave.

Liberals aren't too smart; they always seem to double-down on a loosing proposition.

"Lutheran" is a broad category. ELCA, wisconsin and missouri synods (all lutherans) all take a different stance on this issue.

So what about the catholic approach by hiding priests that were or are child molesters? Been know for decades.

So if I decide to try and believe again, which denomination has the correct interpretations and dogma?

Not really how it works danny. If you're sincere in your desires, whatever they are, pray to the One who made you and ask for His guidance in all of it.
Oh and there's only one denomination and it's the Church ordained by Jesus, the Risen Son of God.
The rest we work through because humans, for some mysterious reason, have been made part of God's restorative Plan.

I would say refer to the bible for proper guidance, denominations are really just a man made creation.

The Bible promotes the idea that faith leads to understanding and not the other way around.
Remember the words of Augustine from the 4th century
"believe that you may understand"

or Anselm from the 11th century; “I pray thee, O God, let me know thee and love thee so that I may rejoice in thee.”

We don't study our way to faith.

BandB, it's a categorical condition that those who work with autistic people use which has grown from those humble beginnings. It's a category of people whose brains don't function in a way that medicine considers "normal."
