Is ceramic pads front and rear the way to go? I always try and get the best pads i can get. I know nothing about ceramic pads. I do some hauling with my F150, so, i want the best for hauling. Thanks, Sarge

I like softer pads on GM 1/2 tons. I buy less rotors. I also maintain the whole system, not just the pads. 2 sets pads to 1 set rotors running in winter salt, rotors cut in between.
I've tried it both ways, hard and soft pads.

Thanks for your input. Believe i'll go the semi-metalic way. Sarge

Same here, I've tried ceramic for a while, seemed they heated more when braking & warped rotors. semi metallic seem the way to go.
