I paid for my college and I think everyone else should have to too. Student loan forgiveness is a joke.

I grew up working multiple jobs and saving for my own education. I took student loans along the way but had zero debt when I graduated. That’s how you appreciate things…you work for them!

Agree. I payed for one daughters college and the other daughter got a full scholarship but also helped with other things. Sniffy is the biggest joke I seen in my 70 years of life

Same here. I worked midnight shift to pay my way through at a small affordable state college (graduated debt free)to get my Electrical Engineering degree and never once has graduating from that small state college held me back from competing with engineers from the bigger name and much more expensive universities.

Democrats are full on pandering! Michigan Governess Whitmer is full on pandering now with giveaways! She just added $95 a month on Michigans Bridge card, a food stamp replacement.

And the NAACP is absolutely livid about it. They say it doesn't go far enough.

These fools have bankrupted us and are to stupid to realize the Biden is living up to his promise to put them back in chains.

If you are smart enough to go to college you are smart enough to figure out how to pay for it.

I didn't borrow a dime for my bachalors degree. However three of my kids had to take out some student loans and paid them off as they promised they would. Now they and myself also have to help pay for some woke liberal with an arts degree working at Walmart. It's got me scratching my head. Why not give it to a farmer to help pay off a tractor he had to buy to actually produce something.

Did you also notice they also pushed the date of next payment till December probably Dec 31 so that 2023 will be the first time a payment was needed all year?

i have 2 kids with student loans and they said ok how do I get my 10K ?

I said they won't even pretend to know that till after 11/15/2022

so if they have the logistics of it figured out before election day I will be 1000000000% surprised

this was a tactic they talked about and talked about and talked about and if it buys them the votes they want in Nov

by 1/1/2023 half of all USD will have been printed since 1/1/2020 that will be even more inflation

so stay tuned to how they will screw this up and the people who could have used it the most will get hosed and all the the accounts that were never going to get paid off any way are suddenly paid back in a major clearing of the books.

This will alienate a lot of former college students that busted their behind to both graduate from college and pay-off their student loans. My two sons graduated from college within the last 6 years and both paid off their debt with no help from my wife and I or the government. This will not sit well with them knowing that others without a work ethic or a moral fiber would accept this as nothing more than pandering for votes. It could end up that it will cause a net loss of votes for the left as a lot of folks will be mad as hornets. Just my opinion but we will see.

I paid for a little of mine. You guys paid for the rest. I say thank you. The GI Bill worked great! Even had some left for rent and beer.
