I didn’t know mules could be nice, lol! They use them to pull the wagons down here and guard the horses in the pastures. Heaven forbid a poor deer gets in the pasture, they’ll chase it down and stomp the life out of them.

Rode him for a couple hours before we left he's gaited and ride like a dream. I'm excited to ride with my daughter. The mule and the horse did have a little go around till the horse took a pretty good one to the mouth and that was that.

There was a rabbit running around the pasture guess he found a good spot to hide from the coyotes. Pretty crazy how strong they are compared to horses

At my age, a gaited riding mule sounds like a fun time. Out on the Navajo reservation,on a horseback tour, they offered me an old plug named Sherman or a frisky 3 year old that wanted to go places. I said " Me and Sherman will get along just fine".

I don't have coon hounds anymore but he has been coon hunting a bunch he's been al over the country doing all kinds of stuff from chasing lion hounds in Colorado to winning a bunch of trophies in the show pen. His resume is pretty impressive. Hey big bob do you have a grandson named ty?

Cant beat a good mule.

I have enjoyed some very good ones.

The ONLY thing I wish they had, and some do, but not many, are higher withers to snug a saddle against better. No need for the rest of the gear in back, then.

But they sure are nice to ride.

Sometime, post closer shots of your pot of gold !
