The books are in deed interesting reads. They have been revised. It, for some reason, bothers me that a true legends writings have been revised. Lenon's writings were clear, concise and spot on. I believe his instructions were adequate for a reader at almost any point in time.
I guess I understand the need for some to attempt some marketing twist such as "new", "Improved" etc., I get it. But I would not feel right trying to make a legend's work better. Not attempting to offend anyone. Being someone that has spent hundreds and hundreds of hours searching out old books and methods, and being an amateur trapping historian, I guess I am just really very old school.

I just talked to John Chagnon today at the MTPCA convention. Very nice fellow.

John is a great guy. He is very passionate about the Lenon lure business. He was the perfect choice for taking over a business Asa loved so much. All the products are as good as ever.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Mac I wonder if the revision was to remove some of the lure formulations that are still sold under the Lennon name. I believe the predator book I seen had more formulations than the one posted.

Mr. Herbert Lenon sold several formulas at one time. I got a hold of the formulas about 30 years ago. Loved his books and articles. I believe I have most of his books in my collection.
