I would look at dealer attitude first and how close the dealership is to home no. 2 priority. Actual brand name is somewhere out there in the weeds. LOL.

My nephew bought a similar model Kubota last year. Overall its a nice machine, I like Kubota. That said, I found the loader control lever to be rather long and intrusive, awkward to me. Also on the bucket itself there is no bucket level indicator rod to let the operator know when the bucket is level. Perhaps its a add on but imo, it should be included. His machine has no cab, but does have a roll bar. The top half of the roll bar can be hinged back, but not easily. To me, there should just be a simple pin to pull and hinge the roll bar backwards and vice versa. IF I remember correctly, 4 bolts with nylon lock nuts need to be removed and reinstalled once hinged. In comparison, I have a good friend who picked up a New Holland workmaster 37, non hydrostatic, a couple yrs ago. I've used this machine dozens of times and find it a bit more user friendly than the similar size Kubota of my nephews. The Shibaura diesel that powers the NH gets tons of respect from users on the "tractorbynet" website. Again, nothing wrong with Kubota, they set the standard for utility tractors. Anyone buying a Kubota will most likely have a trouble free tractor forever. The NH is worth a look if you have a dealer nearby.

Chris We need a package deal.. I’m leaning toward the same tractor also, I compared it to the JD 3039. Farmer I talked to said under 60 hsp buy orange over 60 hsp buy green.

Can't go wrong with a Kubota :-) Not so sure on that. I got a L series 3301 two years ago and it has had various small things go on that left me exasperated. The PTO engagement lever is a toy and a joke. We kept having to adjust it to make it work. The emissions burning device is a major pain in the hind in. When it lights up I still have trouble figuring out what to do after reading the instructions over and over....it has had different parts loosen up (probably because it wasn't assembled very well). Fan belt came off a couple of weeks ago and heated up before I even knew what was going on....the bio-diesel for farm use we use made some algae grow in the filter and clogged up the system. Had to take off the tank and clean the whole system. Maybe all new tractors have issues I don't know, but I sure miss the older tried and true John Deeres and Massey Fergusons.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I've been looking in the market for a while, and am leaning towards a Kubota L3560le series...any of you have one?, or have commentary on other brands or similar size...THX I have an older Kubota L35 with the BT900 backhoe attachment. I've had it twenty-plus years. I can't say enough good things about it. It's a tough machine and has endless uses from plowing snow to gathering firewood, making driveways, digging out stumps, making small ponds, turning the compost piles, digging the garden beds, installing septic systems, the list is almost endless. After seeing BP's post I thought I should add that the only mechanical failure I've had in twenty-plus years was the fuel lift pump died earlier this year and I had to replace it. I've replaced the front tires and most of the hydraulic hoses but I consider that routine maintenance along with regular fluid and filter changes..

We run 4 Kubotas on the tree farm:
BX-1850 B-2630 MX-5000 M-6800
Worry-free and reliable, ALL.
Two things to think about.............. Mostly the L series machines come with R4 tires, which, if you're working in snow, mud or any steep terrain are worthless borderline dangerous. Secondly........ How long do you intend to keep the tractor and how many hours will you put on it ?? Not all Kubota engines (and maybe other manufacturers) are rebuildable. Find out before you decide.
Wollen nicht krank dein feind. Planen es.

Not sure on the Kubota, but when my JD burns out the exhaust system - it needs to go 45 min at 1500 rpm or higher. I can usually work at 1500. If I finish before the burn cycle finishes - I just park it and let it run at 1500 until it finishes.
