Nice, thanks for posting.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Hard to believe there's land that pretty left in this old world. Looks like you died and went to Heaven.
What's going on with that poor ol moose? Looks like something got ahold of her?

As good as these pics are, and they are good, they do not and cannot do justice to what that state looks like in person. The wife and I were in Alaska in late may. I was gobsmacked! The mosquitoes behaved themselves all the way up until the very last day of May. The problem is, if you want to have success fishing, it seems that you have to wait until the mosquitoes get thick. If I ever get a chance to make it back there, I will be sure that the mosquitoes are in full force. Fish or no fish we had an amazing time.

Chums are a kept secret, pull hard anytime and good eating, especially smoked when caught at tidewater!

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

Chums are a kept secret, pull hard anytime and good eating, especially smoked when caught at tidewater! I really like chums. I know of a lodge on the AK Peninsula that sort of caters to older gentlemen who don't want the struggle of wrestling with kings, but still want a respectable fight, so they target chums; a lot more action too.
