I have nothing clever to put here.

I would say they are starting to grow together. Yep. Sprouted side by side and are growing into one another. Cool to see.

Around here, the bark is worth as much as the lumber. They peel it off and it's used for siding houses. THEN you still have the peeled logs that you can sell to a lumber mill. Never bad to get paid twice for the same timber. https://barkhouse.com/natural-bark-wood-products/poplar-bark-shingles-siding/

I wonder how well bark siding shingles hold up? Is it just poplar or other species as well? I have a couple of big poplar laying ready to go to the mill and 6-8 more big ones dying from something. Very interesting.
Eh...wot?

Allen Jacksons house is done with it , its supposed to last eighty years Go figure. And i need to add its strictly watched over business ,You have to be a master logger to sale, or they have to know you good and have all you tax info and personal info. thats just a precaution so the meth heads wont strip yor popaler trees in the middle of the night.
