When I left home my dad told me he was sad for about two seconds.
What from Christ that soul can sever, Bound by everlasting bands? None shall take thee From the Strength of Israel's hands.

I'm already dreading when my two boys go out into the world on their own, and they're only 5 and 3 years old right now!

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

You owe it to them to raise them right and teach them how to survive on their own. I love my kids and was happy and proud when they moved on to make their own way.

What I mean is, I'm sure going to miss having them around! I'm already trying my best to raise them right and educate them

I can identify with your feelings. I hope that you will eventually feel more comfortable with him not being around you. Communicate as much as you can to keep the feeling of being connected and don't dwell on your losses. I lost my dad, my mom, my wife, my only sister, my cat and my job in a 5 year period. At the same time, my only 2 sons moved from my house to two different states. I have lived alone for the past 20 years but have moved on. Hang in there, it will all get better with time.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
