Lots of them here in central Indiana. My Beagles are dead now should get another started pup but dont have time with work. Sure miss my pair of beagles but will be out kicking brush after deer season.

Predators are down on my farm. Figured since I just cleaned out one of the freezers and tossed a bunch of hides I had frozen may as well remove them from the property earlier. A pregnant Sal removed gets rid of several with less effort.. they end up in the same ditch in the spring or winter. Quail, turkey, and rabbits are nice and thick.

Interesting, that may mean next year will have a good martin/fisher population for those states that have them. For us, bobcat, mink, hawk, owl and coyote maybe.

They go in cycles , same a grouse .
About 7 years for it to complete.
Predetors number goes up , grouse numbers goes down.
Predetor number goes down, grouse numbers go up.
Seems feral cats are the worst predetors in this area.
They kill just to kill.
