Cut the chord several months ago and glad I did. However I do want to subscribe to a streaming service just for the NFL/College football season. Any recommendations as to what streaming svc would best is appreciated. Google search just seems to make it more complicated.

I believe the NFL network has a streaming option. If you are looking to watch your local teams an antenna should do the trick.

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

This is probably the cheapest. I had it for awhile before I upgraded to the excellent, but kind of spendy YoutubeTV. I pay 70 for Youtube, but I think Sling is about half of that. Best thing is with either one, you can cancel at anytime, no contracts. Sling has several options. I believe the Orange plan is the one you would want. Okay so I just went and looked at it and with the orange plan ($35) you get ESPN but if you want channels like SEC network, etc. you'd need to also add on the $11 sports package.
