You will have fun. Bring comfortable walking shoes. There will be a lot of tailgaters selling trapping and outdoor related items. Plenty of vendors both set-up indoors and outside selling quality products. Lots of demos scheduled plus food to keep you nourished all day. Save a lot of money on shipping costs by buying in person.

The auction is a fund raiser for the WTA. You sign in, take a number and bid on the items you want. You can go up and review what is there before the auction. There is a wide range of items to bid on. Other items like plaques for all the trap setting contests etc. are donations to help the WTA save money. Many districts also bid on items that they can then raffle off at their events in the future. Fill up with carbs at the T-man feed and bring your wallet and have some fun.
Every district has an area thely are responsible for at the convention. District 5 does the auction, collects the items and manages the auction. Other districts have assignments, such as districts 8 and 10 are responsible for the demo site, selecting the presenters and managing during the convention. Other districts have other areas. If you are a member get active and meet fellow trappers and have some fun.
