Picked up a barely used Escape 145 from a widow and exploring the boat there is a plastic ringed port in the transom just to the starboard(right) side of the drain port. Screened live well is on port. This hole has not been in any past boat I’be had. Bilge and live well outlets are above waterline starboard side. What’s it for?

Fresh water intake for the livewell.

My 190CS Alumacraft had the intake in that spot.

It also had two live wells, one on the port side and the other
on the starboard stern.

Only has one live well. Isn't the screened intake on lower portside(left) transom drain plug for livewell?

The open one might be the drain, when you pull the plug in the livewell.

Agreeing with Steve R. Live well drain drain
Throw some water in the live well to check……

My guess is livewell drain. It may also have the livewell over fill tied into the livewell drain. That's how my boat is set-up. (Lowe).
