It is my understanding that Discover card is not tracking gun purchases. Can anyone confirm this? If it's true, I'm switching. If it is true, they would be fools not to advertise that.

They got a good system. That’s the card I carry. Really don’t know but call them and ask. At least Discover you will talk to a person.

Discover was not on the initial gun and ammo tracking list. I like getting 5% back on many purchases with my Discover card.

How good is the card, is it hassle free on purchases, payments, and customer service?

My mom has had a Discover card for well over 25 years now I would reckon (she is not the kind to put up with hassles). My wife and I both have Discover, neither one of us of had any issues. Their phone app is super convenient. I switched to them because the points on a Cabelas Visa card are a joke anymore. They don't give you as high a percentage as they used to and even when I have points I struggle finding a POS they sell that I really want to spend them on. Think the last time I used a big number of points on anything was when I bought some MN Trapline traps through them.

My wife signed up for Discover but they never sent her a card...she still gets emails saying she should activate her card. We called to see what happened and they said it hadn't been sent yet. Weird. She's been a Discover card holder since December of last year (according to them) and no card yet. A strange company in my opinion.
