I have used them. I will use them again. I cannot afford to buy a gallon of bait for $50. I'd go through a gallon in a week. You can make 5 gallons of bait for $100 using bait solution. Making bait is fun. Different base meats, different tainting times, and different solutions provide versatility you will like.

ive used dobbins the not skunky one. have had good luck with it and would have caught way more coyotes if my traps wasnt froze in but they sure liked the bait. i used cubed deer meat cut into small chunks and didnt taint it. i also got a special run of a red fox lure i cant remember the exact name cherry something i think. its my go to lure at flat sets but will use it at a dirt hole as well. so i bought the solution and got a free while supplies last lure that i will not be able to get again lol. and it works great.

What ratio meat to solution (chunk vs ground up) does everyone do ?
How long do you let it sit and work it's magic before using it ?
Do you experiment or go by the bait solution makers recommendations. (Dobbins, Schneider's, Dunlap, Welch's etc.) ?

Bob Jameson also makes an outstanding bait solution. I have used it with both beaver and muskrat and have had equal success with each one mixed with his Jameson's bait solution.

Dobbins bait solution with 3 day old beaver meat. Couple of tablespoons of of red fox urine and you will catch anything in the area.
