GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 18,584 Green County Wisconsin	he had a VA CCL but was in MD and they honor no ones license. so he was arrested for carrying concealed , he didn't actually use the gun , he used his hand to hand skills as a Marine to take the guy with a gun down and hold him for authorities. since the guy had a gun , he probably would have been better legally to shoot him the law isn't fair and while preserving human life might be the moral thing to do it isn't the best legal decision. since the good guy had a gun pointed at him and had a gun and would have been justified to shoot the bad guy the case would have ruled if he was justified the the CCW law in MD is unconstitutional since he didn't shoot the guy but still had the gun on him his one mistake of carrying concealed in MD may cost him now had this been a reasonable state carrying concealed is a fine and not a crime. but you can't be a good drug and murder capitol if you let citizens carry guns around , you must protect the bad guys at all costs. will be interesting to see how it plays out Last edited by GREENCOUNTYPETE; 09/15/22 08:54 AM. He was not arrested for stopping a potential shooting. Everyone in this country should be way more skeptical about the garbage dished out on YouTube, cable news and social media. The headlines (and content) are designed to get clicks/views and cause an emotional response--which translates into money. Again, I hope it all works out for the Marine and am glad he was there to break up the fight (armed or not).
