No surprise. The people have been duped and the results are growing at a fast rate. X2 No mention of America in the Bible during end times

I had a fascinating conversation the other day with a buddy of mine about Revelations. Since, I have started to reread it. It's awesome and in my laymen eyes I see how things are lining up towards bringing the book of Revelations into fruition.
I think it would be cool to have a thread and discussion on Revelations.
Oh and, hi Keith.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Christian values are seen a negative now but the world is getting uglier everyday, today if you think full term abortion is evil your considered a extremist by many standards how crazy is that?

I think the trend away from the church, civic clubs, social clubs, fraternal organizations, etc began about 40 years ago. We as a people do not live and work in the same community all our lives, as our parents did. Consequently, fewer people get involved because they don't feel a sense of permanence. We go through life as newcomers rather than veterans. It also shows up in local politics, school boards, and other community groups. We no longer have the most qualified people leading our communities. People are not as apt to volunteer their time and money. People no longer feel ownership in their communities because we and our friends are just passing through, always looking for something better. Many people do not feel a sense of loyalty to any organization, or to their employer. Families are much more divided. Divorce is about 50% now.
Politics is also dividing us as a people, in so many ways. Hatred is everywhere you look.

Oh and, hi Keith. I'd enjoy the conversation as well. The book title is singular...Revelation.

Are they including the wave of immigrants coming across the southern boarder? Lots of Christens I’m guessing. Could backfire on the left. That would be a hoot! They’re Catholic not Christians.

Think - Sodom and Gomorah ( Democrats ) Abraham pleaded with God to spare Sodom and he had to keep whittling down the numbers because he knew Sodom was such a wicked place. I don't know what tips the scales and brings on God's judgment. Biden could be an appointed scourge.

I think about this a lot, and I agree, but view it somewhat as an over-correction of a the opposite problem in the mid-20th century. I think in that culture, lots of people attended church because they felt a social obligation to be there, not to seek fellowship in Jesus Christ and expand one's knowledge of God's word. Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have those people in church than at home in hopes that each Sunday is the one where it "clicks". However, it systematically overstated just how "Christian" a community truly was. The path of least resistance was to join the local church and attend fairly regularly. Today, we have the problem where you have to overcome social stigma to attend. Today's problem is much worse, but we shouldn't pretend that it was perfect a couple of generations ago. *My experience is from small town churches, but I'm guessing the trend carries over to more populated areas, as well as into other faiths.
