I can see it here in PA. On the deck this morning before sun up I could see the moon and some stars, figured it was clear. Took another look after the sun rose and the sky is milky white.
Local weather guy says its the smoke from the western wildfires in the upper atmosphere.
Eh...wot?

We have had a lot of days here with the visibility down to a mile or so. It smells like smoke most of the time. We need a north wind to blow it out!
I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

Aren't these wildfires contributing to GLOBAL WARMING?? And yet, the same folks crying about GLOBAL WARMING, are against sustainable logging practices/ deadfall/tinder removal....
And not a peep about wholesale logging in SE to make wood pellets for Europeans too blinded to see they have left themselves vulnerable.
Peak Clown World... AGREED 100%

Decades of mismanaged forest here in the west
Valuable resources all turned to ash .......a direct result from libtardism Somewhat but drought and beetles sure didn't help at all. I think the majority are human caused as well.

Sucks trying to breathe here for the last week or so. I’ve already got issues with my lungs so this smoke has really been kicking my butt. Sure wish ca would pull their heads out of their rears and manage their state so it didn’t burn like this every year. We should all sue them for exposure to second hand smoke lol

The smoke does add a nice effect to some pictures though. I took this picture Wednesday evening along Banks Lake just south of Grand Coulee Dam in northeast Washington. Surprisingly most of the big fires this season are on the west (wet) side of the State. About a week ago the smoke was really bad, but two major east-west highways are still closed. BTW, we had a great camping trip. A few of the older high school guys from church invited this old guy to go on a camping/fishing/water ski trip; what a blast, kind of restored my faith in the youth. They wouldn't let me do a thing, they did all the cooking, driving, etc.; I was able to just relax. Perfect weather 80 degrees, no bugs, and no other people. Stayed at Spring Canyon campground on Lake Roosevelt (Grand Coulee Dam).

Decades of mismanaged forest here in the west
Valuable resources all turned to ash .......a direct result from libtardism Billions of board feet of lumber laying around rotting. They'd rather let it burn than to use it.
