I support Desantis 100%. I say fly or bus all illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities. Let them deal with it. The love should be shared. The southern half of the US shouldnt be the only ones dealing with this issue. And it is an issue. Sarge

What if citizens chartered buses from the southern border to Martha's Vineyard. Would that be illegal? If illegals are already on U.S. soil can't we assume they are here legally? As you know, southern folks are known to be neighborly so what's wrong with helping poor souls get to where the big money is at?

This issue shows just how far down the bowl the country is...this is the best conservatives can do to combat the many millions of illegals coming in.....which cost the country many billions of dollars. This type of immigration is increasing all over the globe as poor countries get poorer...wealthy countries will be dragged down. This is happening as we speak....not something that 'may happen'.

it is because liberals control the USA for the most part and will continue to expand their control. They have expanded their control continuously and that is not changing. They even expanded while trump was potus..I am afraid there is no stopping them at this point. Lots of talk and hope but that is not going to do it...

Alright, so here's my fantasy solution.
We strip the federal government down to the military only, nothing more. We turn large metropolitan areas into independent city-states (populations of a 100,00 or more or the largest city in each state – Delaware, Maine, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming don't have cities with populations of 100,000 or more).
Each city-state operates with its own political, economic and legal systems, the authority of which cannot extend outside those city-state boundaries. The 50 States remain as they are, but the political, economic and legal systems for each State are determined by the (mostly rural) citizens of those States NOT the (mostly urban) citizens of the city-states. Heck, we could build walls around 'em to keep them protected from all of us "gun nuts!"
We need a national divorce because of irreconcilable differences! What else is going to keep us from killing each other?
Edit: Just to be clear, I don't think for a minute that this pipe dream could work for a whole host of reasons, but I do think we need to figure out a way to "separate" in some fashion because there's no peaceful reconciliation on the horizon.

We could start a non-profit for busing migrants to sanctuary cities. Name the non-profit Ultra Maga Ministries.

"A defensive asylum applicant is a person who is apprehended after entering the United States at a border and applies for asylum while the threat of removal by the Department of Homeland Security looms.[8] An applicant must be in removal proceedings in immigration court to request asylum in this manner. The application is the same, but the asylum seeker must file his application with the immigration court with jurisdiction over the applicant’s case. The applicant must show that persecution is more probable than not if he is forced to return home.
What does an asylum seeker have to prove?
Those seeking asylum must prove that that they are escaping their homeland because of persecution due to race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.[9] The Immigration and Nationality Act explicitly provides these five bases for granting asylum,[10] having been heavily influenced by the 1951 United Nations Convention on the Status of Refugees."
"As a signatory to the 1967 Protocol, and through U.S. immigration law, the United States has legal obligations to provide protection to those who qualify as refugees. The Refugee Act established two paths to obtain refugee status—either from abroad as a resettled refugee or in the United States as an asylum seeker."
"How Long Does the Asylum Process Take? Overall, the asylum process can take years to conclude. In some cases, a person may file his or her application or pass a credible or reasonable fear screening and receive a hearing or interview date years in the future. Backlogs, which were already long before the pandemic, have only grown longer since then due to COVID restrictions and months or years-long closures in some courts and asylum offices.
As of April 1, 2022, there were 470,786 affirmative asylum applications pending with USCIS. The government does not estimate the time it will take to schedule an initial interview for these asylum applicants, though historically the delay could reach four years. The backlog in U.S. immigration courts continues every month to reach all-time highs, with over 1.82 million open removal cases as of June 2022. Through November 2021, asylum applications had been filed in over 671,000 removal cases, with the average case pending for over four years. Individuals with an immigration court case who were ultimately granted relief—such as asylum—by May 2022 had waited more than 1,508 days on average for that outcome. Illinois had the longest wait times, averaging over 2,000 days until relief was granted in the immigration case."

Radical action....at this point there is no other option. Just wait for the rest of this year to play out and see what happens..These people seized power and they ain't gonna just give it up. If the best we got is spending millions to bus/fly illegals somewhere we ain't got jack...Plus I bet they find a way to charge some folks with human trafficing. Europe is gonna be in a pickle this winter....wait and see what happens there. They let in tens of millions of muslims..the same thing is happening here... it is a planned action.
