LOL @ Angela, that's because they played nothing but cupcakes and didn't lose a game yet. I didn't see the rankings yet, did Penn State move up, or did they drop because they played a team that sucks? I don't remember what they were before, but they're 14 now. Edit: Oh, it says they moved up 8 spots.

When that time rolls around both those teams could be down and then they will wonder why Ohio State didn't schedule teams that don't suck, lol.
Don't matter Nittany, either one can be down and still beat Ohio St. with their 2nd string by 20, Lol.

That's probably what you thought about Auburn, lol.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

That's probably what you thought about Auburn, lol. Nah, told you in a p.m. over a month ago that Penn St. might very well beat Auburn, and am not surprised in the least. But, if we're still talking Alabama or Georgia getting beat by Ohio St....Yeah, I would be real surprised.

Wow, that is amazing that Penn State could jump 8 spots for beating a team that sucks.

A win is a win, poll's don't matter right now anyway, whether your ranked 2 or 22. Late in the season is only time it matters. Not entirely true. If your ranked 1-4 and just don’t lose no matter who you play and win by just enough over non ranked teams then you don’t move and end up playing in a great bowl game that matters. Even the year Ga took second in SEC and played an undefeated Hawaii team in the Sugar Bowl, all the talk was how Hawaii should be playing for the National Championship. Georgia silenced that talk and had lost two games before getting to that Bowl game. Now imagine Hawaii being ranked #1-4 and playing a team like Alabama, Ohio State, or even Clemson? And I thought Georgia made them look bad. That would have been a blowout of epic proportions.

Thanks Sneaky, I think most thought it was a big win with the exception of a few T-Man members that like to give me a rough time. I am hoping it won't be their last big win this year.

Nittany, Penn St. looked good. I would say that the SEC team I root for, Arkansas, could take them but they about let their cupcake competition beat them.

I am disappointed Franklin would say that. I think he is talking all of the major conferences, not just the SEC. A few years ago Penn State lost to Pitt and that game kept them from the playoffs, that is what triggered his comment. He should realize a win against a power 5 school would do them a lot of good. His glass is half empty because he looks at it as a loss would wipeout any chance for a playoff birth. BTW, Penn State has a winning record against SEC schools. Not many Big 10 teams can say that.
