Had a very successful first trip to Maine for fall Black Bear. Some beautiful country and great people. Already looking forward to going back again. Mine (240 lb.) and another (335 lb.) were both trapped. What a rush and that is something I will never forget.

I bet that makes for a heck of a catch circle! That is something I would love to understand how it works.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Yup. The first one is a 325 lb. dry sow.

The trap we used was the Crit-R-Done. There are several YouTube videos on how it works.

Nice bears. Congrats
Are they prime yet?
Gotta feel strange checking the trap line with a centerfire rifle…..

Anyone thinking about going to Maine to trap a bear I would highly recommend. We are going to be booking again for next year already.

The coats on all the bears were in really good shape.

LOL, we were able to understand them pretty good. I heard a lot of people using "wicked".
