Most beers and soda are force carbonated. All can make their own carbonation but doubt any plants are set up for it.

Wow, this mirrors my sentiment exactly. Thanks for this!

I'm with White17 on this one. Wouldn't hurt me if they quit making it all together

I've got some 130 year old Ezra Meeker hops that need picked. Maybe I'll make my own.

I agree with the no drinkers. The only time beer tastes good is if you have already drank six and can't taste anything but I feel this way about all alcohol.

Even more basic than rum. A sugar wash through a reflux tower condenser can produce a strong pure ethanol alcohol with little or no taste, and without a lot of the by products that would otherwise need to be fractioned off.

We must be brothers from a different mother although it's a little more recent since I haven't had a beer. More like 1987 for me.

I used to make my own beer. Some of the canned malts are really good, just add warm water yeast and sugar, cook for a week and bottle with a half a teaspoon of corn sugar for carbonation. Can drink it a week later, gets better with a bit of age.

MUCH better than most commercial beers.

Of course, the alcohol and carb load in it will cause a slow death, but great tasting beer.

What is this you call leftover beer? Never heard of such a thing.
