i have been fortunate enough to make enough money selling western bobcats even in down markets to make it work. i think i can break even on a cat line here if i wait till january. I am not going out of state cat trapping though for the first time in decades

How much does a person spend hunting? Geese, deer, elk, etc. yea you get some meat but how much do you spend for the meat. We need to keep the population of the critters down. If you love your hobbies, do it. Yes, I’m trapping this year. THIS

Because they want to get in the way of consumptive users. you really think "I kill for fun" is a positive message to someone that grew up with bambi and animal farm for their example on humans interactions with animals

Trapping is killing. If your trapping for fun your killing for fun. Its better IMO to stay home. Let animals become problems. People are a lot more likely to be ok with controlling problem animals.
All this I kill for fun talk is biting us in the backside. If N American women still wanted fur we would have a market instead of depending on Russian and Chinese markets. N American women have been inundated with animal rights. Starting with Bambi and Animal Farm in grade school.
Read the stuff PETA puts out about trapping. Talking about torturing animals for the entertainment of the trapper. Make posts about I kill (trap) for fun and you are advancing their agenda.
A young mother understands trapping for money. Understands that it can benefit populations even when individual animals die. They do not understand killing for entertainment.
