I told him I would have loved to see him serve 2 terms as president and he thanked me then ask: who would you have elected after I got done? I said probably Dr. Ben Carson and then he spent a few minutes telling me he agreed 100%. He told us about how much time he was able to spend with Dr. Carson and let us know that in his opinion Carson would have been every bit as good as Ronald Reagan! IDK how you'd get a better endorsement than that. Had to share. “What’s good for me may not be good for the weak minded.” Captain Gus McCrae- Texas Rangers

But I wonder if the reason we eventually got Trump was the media destruction of so many other well qualified candidates like Perry and Carson. That it finally took a Trump that wouldn't play by gentleman's rules to break through. But I don't see Perry or Carson as down in the mud type fighters.
