Very nice I can only imagine how proud you must be Thanks I’m extremely proud. He got his own permission from landowner, hiked in and out each day, stayed persistent and passed up lesser bulls and learned from observing what was happening and it paid off for him.

Looks like a great place to kill an elk! Right out in the open where a truck and loader tractor can pick him up....
Nice bull! It really couldn’t have been better, the farmer he works for came with a trailer, they got it in there and then took it to the farm to the front end loader. All I had to do was split a nice washed elk carcass in half and get it to my buddies cooler.

Having studied all the wrong ways to do it over the years, there are some shortcuts, but none are as good as shooting it where you can get to it and mechanically handle it.
