Bought this trap through a local online auction and it was only labeled “6” Killer Trap”… I’ve gone through the two books I have and have come up empty… if anyone can help me out, I’d be forever grateful!!! There are no distinguishing markings that I’ve found, and I feel like it’s not that old, but I’m no expert!

Thanks for anyone that can help me out!

Yes your trap is a Taylor Killer made in Illinois in the 1970's. Your trap is muskrat size with a wire trigger. Trap also came in a pan model and a bigger beaver size trap.
