Little guy suprised me while I was mosing some traps around. Guess he's a lil rat snake but no sure. Was pretty chill. Anyone know exactly what he is ?
And yes I know I need to clean my nails I've gimme a break laugh

Looks like the one that lives in one of my ladder stands. He’s there every time I hunt that stand. I moved him the first time. Now I just leave him be. May start catching some little frogs to feed him when I go hunt, lol.

West of the Hooch and Appalachian divide to the Mississippi is the grey rat, P. spiloides. East of that is the eastern, P. allegehensis, in all of its many color morphs. P. obseleta is the western on the other side of the big river.

Or at least that's what the brainy folks are saying for now.

I find it interesting that it is following the morter trail and not on the brick?? Different texure that it can grab?

We call them oak snakes in Florida, but gray rat snake is what most people call them. Usually pretty docile.

Mouse eating machines, little ones are pretty docile, big ones are foul tempered
