Yes, that's the group in question. Opposed to fur trapping and most nuisance trapping and in favor of feral non native invasive decimating native wildlife and ecosystems yet the first to call for trapping when coyotes eat a cat.

Just 2 weeks ago, a local fellow, that owns a yard mowing business, was trying to smart talk me, in front of others, about killing these dillers. He said he thought they're pretty and would not want to harm one and they are very beneficial. LOL HAHAHAHLOL He asked me if I eat them dillers, so I asked him if he ate all that grass that he mows in people's yards. About 5 days later he called and said,,,"Armadillos are digging in my turnip patch,, what do I do"? I said, "Kill them". The very next day, he called me and said, "I saw it my yard and shot it". LOL, this really happened.

Ok, I took a Comstock trap to the elderly couple's place and let them try to set it and neither of them had the strength to set the trap. So, I am now thinking of either a Wickenkamp #302 trap or a Williams trap. Both of those traps seem to have a good name for holding coons but how would they be for armadillos? They are both treadle-triggered with the protruding door when set and the doors are locked with a ring. I believe that the elderly couple could easily set those traps. What do yall think. Armadillos are their main concern.

If armadillo is the main concern, build a wooden double door trap

If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

They could not lift that. I think it weighs about 30 lbs.

What are they supposed to do with the armadillo in a cage bouncing around?

I ordered them a Williams trap. We'll find out if it works for armadillos the next time dillers start plowing their yard. It seems to be a really stout built trap with a strong door. We'll see.
