I believe this car actually has an internal combustion engine. Which means most of the trapperman members are going to buy one tomorrow. LOL.

You know it boggles my mind. My grandmother had a 1984 Honda Accord four door, carburetor, gas engine, five speed. It got 45 mpg, she finally gave it to my dad to use as a work car when it got too many miles on it for her to trust it. He blew the engine up in it at just a hair over 450,000 miles, because he checked the water in it and didn't get the radiator cap back on. Even at that many miles that car was still getting over 40 miles per gallon. If we could make comfortably sized four door sedans clear back forty years ago that got that kind of fuel mileage, why do we need to drive a beer can with wheels to approach that kind of fuel mileage today? Heck most of the "green" hybrids don't get that good of fuel mileage. The emissions systems strangle the efficiency of modern combustion engines. That and I am not convinced modern cars have good aerodynamics. Just my worthless 2 cents. Even a simple thing such as tires can make your fuel economy go up or down.

It's a 3 cylinder gas only engine. My daughter did hit a deer with it. Less damage to it than when my wife hit a deer with her van. This was my inspiration Thats probably because that thing will clean scoot under a deer just clipping the rib cage. I drove one of those thngs from Hamburg to Emden on 09.11 when I got of a flight from Spain. It was the only hire cars they had left at the hamburg airport that day. Once I had my suitcase in the " trunk " thats all I saw in the rear view mirror. I am using the word trunk here way beyond its scope as they really just re located the glove box to the back of the " car " once I got the 200 miles to Emden, I swapped it at the local car hire place for a Porsche .. that was the only cars they had left. Had to drive from Emden to Berlin for my flight back to Spain as that was the only airport open 3 days after the attack. On that one I think they could not make their mind up if they should install a automatic or manual transmission and ended up with a sort of in between thing if I remember right.
