The subject of this article shows just one of many reasons why implementing the GND is impossible. In the past few decades there has not been one mine proposal in the USA, as well as in most other Countries that the Marxist environmentalists have not opposed. Just recently environmentalists have convinced the Biden administration to cancel the permits for a major underground mine in Minnesota. This underground mine would have minimal surface impacts, as well as provide the metals crucial to the GND. Opposition to new mines by the enviro whackos either illustrates their stupidity, or the fraudulent nature of this man-made climate issue; or both. https://www.mining.com/charts-almos...-energy-copper-demand-and-mining-supply/

Since they won’t approve a mine, pipeline, or well permit, they deserve to be cold and have no transportation or electricity to charge their worshipped electric cars.
Look at the reality of oil wells on private land. A recently completed project has two adjacent well pads for a total of 14 wells. Those wells pull from under 8,960 surface acres. No other surface disturbance is necessary. The wells tie into a pipeline to distribute the goods. Last month one well produced more than 16,000 barrels of oil.
A huge new electric generating plant was built and runs on local natural gas.
Personally, I love old dinosaurs!

New mines being developed left and right around here.Gold mines and Nickel mines.Natives own 50% of all development and guaranteed jobs and contracts, and training. Everybody is filthy with mine money.-New trucks everywhere.

Here the Natives have casinos, they mine cash....Nearby almost every Casino, out of site is a slummy neighborhood/village where that cash is spent on drugs and booze. Tribal police handle that, so not much makes the news. Glad they fair better where you live.
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

It’s alway something with these Lefties Plus companies that cannot meet emission standards are paying large timberland owners , not to cut their trees,(carbon offsets) so these companies can continue spewing CO2. All the while, the trees in the forest are absorbing CO2 for free. What a scam, it’s called green washing.

Its going to be a hoot when the new regulations for AC systems come into effect on Jan 1st next year. I was talking to my neighbor yesterday and he installs and services them for a living and he said he will quit and mow lawns instead when the new regs go into effect and he has done AC work for over 20 years.

Got a link to these new regs? I did not know about these. https://www.hvac.com/resources/2023-hvac-regulations/One fun thing is that the return lines then have to be twice the size they are now. Say you have a system that currently uses a 16 inch return duct ... next year a system of the same capacity will need a 30 " diameter return. Great if your old system breaks down and ya need a new one. In order for the new one to be installed they first have to tear your house down
