High school football season is starting to wrap up their regular football season and college football is half over but they are still playing baseball, a summer game. No playoffs like we have now which adds to making the season longer. The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

Typically there is more bad weather in late April when they start than early November. Yes it is a lot about money, especially the TV contracts which is the larger source of revenue these days. Looks like a good WS coming up with a couple hot teams. There is to me some concern that with a 162 game season that teams with barely a winning record can be in the WS. The Braves with 88 wins last year and the Phillies with 87 wins this year. Only 1 top seed made it to the WS. Many find baseball boring but I don't. The different strategies used or needed for each hitter, or runners on base and who, when to bring in relief etc. Not nearly as many baseball players can come out of HS and start or play in the MLB unlike NFL or NBA or even the NHL.
