Was watching the CFB rankings show last night and the MIGHTY OH ST hasn't beaten a ranked team this year. Now before you buckeye fans get on here and holler Norte Dame they were ranked 5th PRESEASON before the first kickoff of the year .
Yep bama lost to the THIRD ranked team on the road with zero's on the clock. But look how many "RANKED" teams they have beaten .. Next month of games going to be good football......

And there is a wide open path for Bama to still get to the top.

Matter of fact there is a perfectly viable and likely path to place not just two but three SEC teams in the playoff with a good case to be made for a fourth.

I’ll be the first to admit it’s hard to tell how good my buckeyes are. They tried to schedule at least one good game which is more than the school up north did it just didn’t pan out. Penn State will be a beat down with their only real challenge being the state up north. They are in the same boat as OSU though who knows how good they really are? OSU or Michigan will be in the CBS and it’s gonna be tough to keep Clemson out but they are the team that’s over rated. Just hang in there before you put a fork in OSU. And jbird a loss is a loss!

Am I missing something here? Notre Dame was ranked 5th the first week. And dropped to 8th the next week. So you can't say the Buckeyes haven't played a ranked team.

CFB POWER rankings are based on wins losses AT THE TIME RANKINGS are released. Wasn’t me on espn saying they had the weakest schedule of ALL the top ten teams . Zero zilch ranked opponents to date this year . ND 5 rankings as I stated was before the first ball had been snapped

You can only play who is on your schedule and the schedules are made several years in advance. Like you said, the next month or so of games will show who is and isn't good.

I'm not sure Ohio State is worthy of being #2. Even if they run the table and make the final 4, we won't know how good the may or may not be. I don't know if Michigan is any good. They might be but they haven't played anyone except Penn State and Penn State hasn't played anyone good except Michigan and maybe Auburn.

Utah State, LA Monroe, Vanderbilt and Austin Peay isn't exactly a gauntlet either? They all do it.

Computer Hater is too modest. With the wide receivers and quarterback Ohio State has if they were to play Alabama the only way Alabama's secondary could stop Ohio State from scoring would be when the game was over. Nick Saban would go through about 6 pairs of headphones, lol.
