Tn has been in the toilet for so long, player's fled when the new coach was hired, he gathered up a rag tag team out of the transport portal, many from jr. college's never heard of before, etc. Im amazed at what that coach has turned that program into in such a short time, amazing!

Going to be fun to watch them spank OH st. in the national championship game.

I'm not convinced TN can beat GA. It should be a good game though. If they pull that off then I imagine they'll go to the Championship.

Josh Heupel is an awesome coach. He did the same thing when he took over a UCF.
Tenn, still has a tough road ahead. Next week Georgia and a win will guarantee a re-match with Alabama for the SEC title.
As far as putting a rag tag team together. It shows the difference between coaches that can teach vs coaches that relay on natural talent. Several coaches fit the latter. Give me a coach that can extract raw talent and you can see the difference.
I did the same thing. Played on a team that we couldn't win even if the other team forfeited. Next year, same boys, different coach. We went undefeated and won a state title.
Coaching and leadership makes a difference in young lives.
I like Georgia and Tennessee. So, may the very best team win. Should bea great game.

With NIL money there is no "rag tag teams" Tenn spent in excess of 25 million on this class. (reported amount, NOT TOTAL ) The incoming quarter back for next years TENN team has an 8 million dollar deal already in place. He hasn't took a snap at the college level !!

Bama's not about anything this year, got a NFL quarterback and that's it. I don't think Tn would have a problem beating them again, probably worse than the first time. I'll be shocked if Bama beats LSU or Ol Miss though. Saban's lost control of that team and his offensive coordinator is a joke. Same ol 3 plays over and over, not hard to defend against. Secondary is non existent so if you can throw a ball you can beat them.

Ga's not all it's cracked up to be either. Tn/Ga game be the best game of the season I imagine, it's basically the national championship game.

Players didn't flee when Heupel was hired, they were shown the door. Those were the ones taking impermissible benefits from the previous coaching staff. Bunch of them ended up at Chokelahoma and are reaping what they sowed.

Alabama doesn't have a guaranteed path to the SECCG either. They still have to beat LSU and Ole Miss to get a shot at either Tennessee or Georgia.
