Very nice rifle! I bet she’s a tack driver! Thanks Battle scars and all Shoots the size of a quarter at 100 yds. She likes the blue box cheaper Federals

NICE.I have an old Ruger Model 77 in .243 that is a tack driver.Looks very similar to yours. A guy brought a bunch of guns to work selling for his father in law. I missed out on that gun by 20 minutes he sold it for 300 bucks. Ended up with a mint wingmaster for 275 so wasnt all bad.

My first gun was a 600 Mohawk in 308 my dad bought for me 44 years ago. I still have it and still hunt with it. I bought my son his first in 243 just like the one pictured. Unfortunately I had to kill the first buck with it. Also have a vent ribbed 308 I bought from a guy here. I replaced the plastic trigger guards on all of them with a black machined aluminum guard I bought on gunbroker. They used to cost $75 but the last I looked they were up to $90. The 600s and 760 carbines I just can't pass up. Unfortunately? You had to kill the first Buck with it.?

Sweet! Killed my biggest bucks with my .243.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
