No. But on a cold evening my nose started running down past my mustache, over my lips and across my beard while at full draw. I made the shot, nice doe, but it was a bit hard to focus lol.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Hmmm, don’t think that’s something I’ll ever have to contend with here. I have had sweat get in my eyes though.

No peep sights on my English Long Bow...

Don’t have to worry about screws coming loose or cables breaking either...lol

Nessmuck, what type of traditional bow would you recommend for a lifelong compound shooter? And what draw weight?

Get yah self a Mongoalian Horse Bow...if your doing all your shooting in a tree stand . Bow is 52-54 inches....45@ 28 “. You’ll still be able to use it when your body has no testosterone left ...when you get old.

I would get a 50# reflex/deflex longbow or recurve. Something in the 60-62” range. I feel a little length is a good thing and though i dont do a ton of treestand hunting it doesnt take much to figure it out. Basically if in a climber set you top real high so it stays out of the way of the bow. Hang ons are the best.

When shooting modern bows I shoot a Toelkes. You wont convince me there is a better one.

I’ve had a Toelke whip for several years now, no complaints!

Shoot a recurve or long bow, then you don't need to worry about a peep sight. laugh

Yes I have, couple times. Also my entire sight pin aperture snow got full couple times. Snow is better than ice or freezing rain in it.
