Today I shot my 1st doe. I dropped her. She was 80 yards away.

Congratulations. It may sound odd now but get yourself a note book and wright down each of your kills and the dates and other info. That way if you keep up with it you will know how many deer you have killed when you get older.
Take me for example I'm 42 and have no clue hoe many deer I have killed in my life. I tried to figure it out aeveral years back when my boys asked but gave up after I got into the 120s.
I told my boys to keep track like that and they can tell me how many deer , rabbits and squirrel, ect they have killed. It will get to a point you will remember the hunts more Tham the deer and will forget about some deer completely. I might remember the ones I missed more than the ones I didn't. or at least I remember a few misses but your right I have lost track of the number I have shot I remember the first one
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Then it's just things like one at 300 yards with a muzzle loader, several head shots/ the really good shots or reactions. The when and #s are lost.
