Walking back from church the missus and I spotted a couple armadillos foraging along the woodline. The church sits on 25 acres so they were a good fifty yards away in the open field.
Told the wife to watch this and I managed to close the distance and get between them and the woods. Caught and dispatched the first one with the other none the wiser. Got my hands on the second one a few minutes later but didn't get a good pin on it and it got away.

I ain't slowed down that much.

The thought did hit me that it's foolish to let me get that close with a knife.

Never heard of a church being shot up? I carry anytime I’m not drinkin. Been sober for 4 years lol.
