Do you bobcat trappers place the flag behind the trap, over it, or in front of it and approximate distance from the trap? Also, how high above the ground?

In front so it's direct line of sight from the flagging brings its vision to your set.

My flasher is placed about 5-10 feet out side front of the set and 2-3 feet above ground. where it can be seen from several long distance directions.


The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.
