My neighbors had me sell some of their guns as he has dementia and she wants them out of the house for safety. So I sold most of them for them. Today she called me over to pick up a tote. Bring the truck she said. So I did and it was a tote with ammo that she gave to me. Not one caliber that I do not use. 1200 rounds of 223, 300 of 40 S&W , 300 of 9mm , 100 of 30-30 . so I don't have to crank up the loading press for a while now and will have plenty of brass as well.
That was a nice surprise after I got back from my monthly work trip yesterday. smile

Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold. Too bad they had to settle for you LOL.

All kidding aside, that is a nice score and if I remember you had another nice gift here recently. Way to go.

Nice compensation for your help, that's for sure. Sometimes it's nice to get something you weren't expecting.

Very nice , good deal.

Just for laughs , that ammo is worth some serious cash nowadays. Not like you would sell it , but it is valuable.

I still have a Marlin lever action and a M&P 15 from them to sell. Both new in box and will probably put some ammo with them for whoever may buy them.

You did good!

I know a guy that was driving on garbage pick up day, He passed a house and it looked like the garbage can had gun barrels sticking out of it, he stopped and sure enough the can was full of rifles and shotguns, He went to the door to ask about it and a woman told him her husband had passed and she was afraid of guns so threw them out!
She told him to help himself to the guns and then come back to the house for the rest of them....

You can't make this stuff up.....LOL

Nice score what a way to thank someone for being a good neighbor.

Please do, myself or a friend may be interested in the gun depending on what year it is.
