John, I can’t say I like it better than a trough because I’ve never used one but I like my table, baught it as a portable work table, no top on it , a long time ago, and it has evolved into my beaver table, if you know an electrician with a conduit bender it would be easy to make . Thanks for the insight!

Looks to be priming up nicely. If you ship to the auction you will lose 1 size by leaving the nose on,unless you nail the nose and whiskers an inch and a half past the size line the rest of the pelt is boarded to..
