I have seen a lot of old snowmachines.A buddy of mine is the pres of the classic snowmobile club in Cochrane. I dont remember ever seeing that one though. Pretty cool looking rig.

Just for fun, here's an oldie of me on my '73 free air T'NT Ski Doo. Won a few races with it and used it for trapping a quite a bit back in the day. That John Deere is way cool! Just to clarify, you are talking 1973 right?
I have nothing clever to put here.

I had an OLD Arctic Cat with a metal track and a 10 horse power Kohler motor in it.Had forward and reverse.I think top end was about 12 miles an hour,,,but it would pull a house down. They used them a lot for skidding out logs.

I bought a Johnson with a Wankle motor in it one winter during the fur boom, when we had a rough winter. It would run about 45 and had a reverse in it, which I appreciated on many occasions. I had over a hundred coyote traps out and couldn’t get to hardly any of them, so bought the only snow machine that I knew of around here. I have only seen two winters that tough in my 75 years, and by the time the second one rolled around 25 years later, the snow machine had melted down to scrap iron! They are a pretty poor investment in Ks!

The old Polaris TX 340s really hauled too. No weight to those old things. Word of the day Caesar Salad Say with a Newfie accent….”pa said to make sure ya put oil in da skidoo or ya Caesar Salad”
